Randy always wanted to be Maverick from Top Gun, but that didn’t work out, so he went on to his
second choice, selling copiers, after graduating with a BA and MBA from the University of Colorado. (Of
course, there was that 9-year stint as an estimator in the architectural woodwork industry, but he’s
currently blocking that memory.) After beginning his career with XEROgraphiX West (that’s a mouthful!)
in 2002 as a sales rep, Randy quickly found out the owner was looking to sell the company, so Randy
went all-in and bought it in 2003, changing the name to X West (much easier to pronounce).
Denver…has never…been…the same. Randy’s inexplicable love of printing technology combined with his
drive to provide the best customer service possible has led X West to become one of the most successful
Xerox agencies in the U.S. (maybe the world). It also earned Randy four trips to Xerox’s President’s Club
and many other copier industry accolades.

Jessica Bernhardt Business Manager

Jessica would like to say the only reason she works at X West is because her husband owns the business.
But we all know that she has an insatiable desire to track meter reads, help with supplies orders, and
manage HR and benefits. Wish granted. Jessica earned her BA at the University of Colorado Boulder
(where it is rumored she twirled a mean flag in the marching band). She has been helping customers
and employees at X West since 2004.

Gary Mages Systems Analyst

Gary started studying xerographic technology at the age of 6 months, studying under the likes of Chester
Carlson himself (the guy who invented Xerox, come on people!) After going through the public
education system in Jefferson County Colorado, and an illustrious college cross-country career at
Hastings College (Nebraska), where he earned his BS in Math, Gary heard his “higher calling,” and
became the Systems Analyst for X West Inc, where he has been amazing customers with his wizard-like
skills since 2002. Gary has installed, like, THOUSANDS of Xerox copiers, has been factory trained by
Xerox and EFI (the guys who make Fiery), and is the undisputed heavy-weight champion of the system
analyst world.
